Four Iran short films to compete at Chennai filmfest, India

Four Iranian short films are to be screened at the International Chennai film festival

Four Iranian short films are to be screened at the fourth Chennai International Short Film Festival in India.

Masoud Hatami’s ‘Survival’, ‘Kech’ by Mehrdad Hasani, ‘Endless River’ directed by Mohamad Mohamadian and Mahyar Hamidian’s ‘Happiness whithout Money’ are to vie at the event.

The Iranian short films will compete with films from India, US, Argentina, Turkey, Taiwan, Germany, Russia, France, UK and Egypt.

Chennai International Short Film Festival is the unique event in India which showcases talents to short film making, the official website of the festival wrote.

It is the only annual international short film festival happening in India with awards in all categories.

Short films have emerged as a universal experimental platform for both professional and amateur film makers alike.

The event is to be launched on February 19-25, 2017 in Chennai, East India.
